What is mobile data privacy?

Mobile privacy is a term used to refer to the privacy rights of users of mobile devices (such as smartphones and tablets) that are different from and typically additional to the rights of users of internet-based services in general. Mobile services are typically offered through mobile apps.

The mobile data privacy is covered both by governmental legislations and the industry standards and policies. Regulations such as GDPR and CCPA or frameworks and features such as Google Sandbox or Mobile Ad ID.
